We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite spots near the lodge - places we love and a few that have been on our list. Whether you’re up for a little exploring, grabbing a bite, or just want to see what the area has to offer, we’ve got you covered.
The Marshall Store - This spot is right on the bay and so good. Fresh oysters, smoked meats, fish tacos, crab sandwiches - you really can’t go wrong. Great views, super casual, and a local favorite.
Nick’s Cove - Cozy, coastal vibes with delicious, locally-sourced food. You can eat inside by the fireplace or grab a seat on the patio and soak up the view.
Point Reyes Station - A sweet little town with lots of charming boutiques and great places to grab a bite or a coffee. Perfect for a lazy afternoon stroll.
Brickmaiden Breads - We’re big fans of their chocolate croissant.
Bovine Bakery - Another local go-to, just around the corner from Brickmaiden. Great for coffee and pastries.
Cafe Reyes - Casual, friendly, and known for their wood-fired pizza.
Hiking at Marconi - There are a bunch of little trails right on the Marconi property if you’re in the mood for a walk with a view. Easy to explore and a great way to soak in the scenery.
Point Reyes Lighthouse - Okay, this one’s a little bit of a drive (just under an hour), but worth it. The views are stunning and it’s a great excuse for a mini coastal road trip.
